Article Processing Charges

INDONESIAN JOURNAL OF AGILE MANAGEMENT (IJAM) applies an Article Processing Charges (APC) policy as part of its commitment to maintaining publication quality, ensuring sustainable journal management, and enhancing the academic reputation of the institution.

APC refers to the fee charged to authors for processing articles, covering all stages from manuscript submission, peer review, editing, formatting, to electronic and print publication.

A. Objectives of APC Implementation

  1. To ensure the sustainability of the journal as a medium for disseminating high-quality scientific knowledge.

  2. To support the management of editorial systems and technological infrastructure (Open Journal Systems/OJS).

  3. To fund professional plagiarism checks using tools such as Turnitin or iThenticate.

  4. To provide language editing and layout services (copyediting & layouting) in line with national and international standards.

  5. To facilitate DOI (Digital Object Identifier) registration and indexing in scientific databases (e.g., Google Scholar, DOAJ, SINTA).

  6. To strengthen promotion and academic collaboration networks at both national and international levels.

B. APC Cost Components

The APC may include the following components:

  1. Administrative costs for manuscript submission and initial screening.

  2. Peer review fees for assessments by external experts.

  3. Similarity index checks using anti-plagiarism software.

  4. Language editing, layout formatting, and galley proof preparation.

  5. DOI assignment for each article.

  6. Hosting and maintenance of the journal’s website.

C. APC Rates

The APC rate is determined based on the type of journal and the author's affiliation. A sample fee scheme is as follows:

Author Category Research Journal
Internal Authors of IJAM IDR 100,000 – IDR 150,000 per article
External Authors (National Institutions) IDR 200,000 – IDR 350,000 per article
International Partner Authors USD 20 – 25 per article

The rates above are sample estimates and may be adjusted according to government policies.

D. Fee Waivers and Subsidies

To support publication development, IJAM management may offer full or partial APC waivers or subsidies for:

  1. Articles resulting from community engagement projects with significant social impact.

  2. Undergraduate student research articles recommended by their academic advisors.

  3. Authors affiliated with partner institutions under official collaboration programs.

E. Payment Terms

  1. Payment is made after the article has been officially accepted by the editorial board.

  2. Authors will receive an official invoice via email.

  3. Proof of payment must be uploaded through the OJS system or sent to the journal management’s email.

Articles will only be published after all administrative requirements are fulfilled.
